INTRODUCING
My name is Dominic West, and I've been
taking pictures since I first got my
hands on my parents' flip phone in 2009.
Ever since acquiring my first iPhone in
2014, I've never stopped chasing the idea
of capturing emotion through an image.
Although almost the entirety of this
portfolio was taken with my iPhone, I've
always known that it's not the equipment
that captures the feeling of a fleeting
moment, but the one with a vision.
As an artist of many mediums, I've come
to realize how important creating a
visual world is, as well as the feelings
it can evoke and the hearts it can reach.
By the time this portfolio is published,
a new era of my work will begin, as I'll
be getting my hands on my first
mirrorless camera, the Sony A7 V.
